Trevor Appleton has been seen on BBC Regions in the past year at
Nottingham, Leeds, Bristol, Southampton and Plymouth.
Trevor comes from the East Riding of Yorkshire where he has recently
returned home to after a 30-year absence.
During that time he has worked as a TV weather forecaster in places as
far apart as Aberdeen and Plymouth, and as a marine weather forecaster on
Oil Rigs in locations as diverse as the Norwegian Sea and the Persian
Gulf.
Trevor was educated at Beverley Grammar School in Yorkshire, studied
for a Mathematical Sciences Degree at the University of Westminster, and
gained an MSc in Environmental Management at the University of
Stirling.
His interests include hill walking and sea canoeing, though with a
young family, devotes any spare time to gardening and plant hunting.
